Overview for 2009

Women’s Ministry will be restarting the 2nd week of Jan. 2009.  This will be an exciting new season to sit, hear , learn and share God’s Word. God always has perfect timing for what He desires to give us. May each of us absorb what the Spirit holds out for us.

I will teach you wisdom’s ways and lead you in straight paths. When you walk, you won’t be held back; when you run, you won’t stumble. Take hold of my instructions; don’t let them go. Guard them, for they are the key to life. Proverbs  4:11-13.

 

We welcome all who desire to attend any of these studies. This is a sure way to be grounded in Truth and have Fellowship and accountability.

Wednesday Evening Bible Study 6:30 pm - 8 pm

Each Wednesday evening beginning January 14, 2009

We will open our studies with a 4 session series taught by our own Kim Kirk.

Stagnant or Vibrant ; How’s your walk with the Lord ?

1) Where do you stand ? -Rev. 3:14-22

2) Get Your feet Wet! -Joshua 3:1-4:7

3) Count the cost ! Matt.16:21-28

4) Bear Fruit  11 Cor.9;6-15

 

Following we will start a new series

Stepping Up (A Journey Through The Psalms of Ascent ) a Beth Moore curriculum.

Pour over Psalms 120-134 and find the agenda God has for you. Expect a new level of intimacy with Him through this study. If we allow God, He will turn each of us into true worshippers with greater fellowship with Him. The closer we draw to Him, the safer we will feel.

The Book of Ruth

Bathing in the Love of God

A Continuation of the fall class led by Carol Thomas

Discover the depths of God’s love for you personally.

Small Groups:

Five small groups are available.

1) Tuesday morning 9:30-11:30 am. Claire Kaiser will continue her prayer group in her home. Contact the church for directions.

2) Tuesday morning 10:00-12:00. Each Tuesday Carol Thomas will be teaching in Barb Young’s home.

3) Thursday evening 6:30-8:00 at the church. Hazel Chase teaches every other Thursday, January 15, 2009. Hazel will be teaching from the book Satisfy My Thirsty Soul by Linda Dillow.

4) The opposite Thursday, The Book Club will meet led by Joan Werzinski and Ana Ramirez.They will continue with the book  Hudson Taylor’s Spiritual Secret.

5) Every Thursday Evening , in the home of Donna Park, she will lead a time of prayer and intercede for the needs of those who attend.

[Nursery is available for Wednesday evening and Thursday morning Bible studies. Donations for childcare workers are welcome. No nursery available for Tuesday morning or Thursday evening Bible studies.]
