FEFC Youth Ministries

Our Mission in FEFC Youth Ministries is to intentionally lead students to see God as He has revealed Himself in Scripture--the only true God, infinitely glorious and worthy of our worship; to systematically equip our students through the Scriptures to become like Christ; to intentionally reach out to unsaved students with the Gospel and to support parents to be the primary disciple-makers of students in their home. We will do this by emphasizing Christ-like relationships; by emphasizing Spirit-led Christian service in the church & community, by creating an exciting & fun youth environment/ activities; and by providing avenues for student spiritual growth and student leadership.

Our youth ministries at Fellowship Evangelical Free Church currently includes:

TNT (Thursday Night Teens), Route 66 (Sunday morning discipleship), Quiz Team,

and S.O.S. (Summer Opportunities for Students).

TNT: ”Thursday Night Teens” is a ministry for students in grades 6-12 from FEFC and the surrounding communities. TNT is an evangelistic ministry that offers plenty of opportunity for fellowship, discipleship and leadership training. TNT is every Thursday night from 6-8:30pm, with a SnackShop, Student Cafe & Lounge, Game Room, Open Gym, Worship Time with our youth band “Inside Out”, and an edgy video Bible curriculum entitled “fuel”! Join us & invite your friends...you’ll have a blast!

Route 66:  “66” denotes the 66 books of the Bible which will be systematically presented over the period of six years during our youth discipleship hour on Sunday mornings. The main purpose of this ministry is discipleship...a student who attends Route 66 regularly will have explored the entire Bible, gained Godly truths and wisdom, and laid a firm foundation before they even graduate from high school. Junior High and Senior High classes of Route 66 are offered every Sunday morning from 11am till Noon.

Quiz Team: A group of students who travel locally & regionally to compete at Bible Quiz meets. Students meet weekly to study designated book of the Bible. They are divided into Jr. & Sr. divisions for competitions. Camaraderie and excitement along with Bible knowledge are served in generous portions here!

S.O.S.: ”Summer Opportunities for Students” provide our students with meaningful, heart-changing, Christian experiences during the summer months. However, many students would not be able to afford these awesome opportunities without your HELP! Therefore, fundraisers are held throughout the year in order to defray individual expenses. By participating in these necessary fundraisers, and/or by sending your students to these life-changing events, you are HELPING students (hence the S.O.S.), discover & share Jesus Christ, go deeper in their faith & mature in their Christian walk.

Currently these S.O.S. opportunities include:

S.L.C.--At Students Life Camp, students & leaders from our youth group meet up with students and leaders of youth groups from all across the East Coast, for a week of unhindered worship, inspirational teaching, group building recreation, and so much more!

S.E.M.P.--The Student Evangelistic & Missions Project has accomplished a variety of projects over the years including trips to run a VBS in Chinatown, NYC & Baltimore; assist hurricane Katrina flood victims; missions work in Africa; and more.

C.O.H.--Although S.O.S. fundraising money does not apply to C.O.H. fees, each year many of FEFC students attend Camp Orchard Hill in Dallas, enjoying it’s endless recreational activities, effervescent fellowship, and dynamic teaching. Many go on to become counselors & staff at this Christian camp, through it’s transforming leadership program.
